Katie Knox said Hey, everyone! I don’t know if anyone will see this before tomorrow, but I thought I’d go ahead and post it anyway– when does everyone want to meet to decide on what stories to put into production? It’d be great to try and get an idea of everyone’s schedules, if possible… I’ll be free from four to six on Tuesday and any time after 2:20 or so on Wednesday, myself. Please let me know!
Katie Knox said Hey, Russ and Jenny, if you guys see this, Kevin and I are going to be meeting at 5 pm in the Digital Arts lab, if you can make it! We hope you can drop by! :<
Russ Barbee said I dropped by shortly after 5 yesterday but didn’t see anyone. I’m only on campus Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. I have some ideas about expanding the story for the Bus Stop short and also have some music in mind for it already. The guy is tired of waiting for the bus and decides to walk down the street a little until he sees himself sitting at a bus stop in the distance. Of course he doesn’t know he’s seeing another snow globe on the shelf next to him. He naturally gets creeped out by the whole thing and runs back to the bus stop. I also have several scenes that were removed from the storyboards for Blade of Vengeance: acorn hand-grenades, army ants helping out and a planning session before the battle with the lawnmower.
Katie Knox said Russ, I’m sorry if we missed you! I was in the DA lab from 4:30 to 5:30, and Jenny and Kevin were both in there from about 5:15 to 5:30… We did end up picking Blade of Vengeance, though, and already brainstormed some ways we can continue to improve upon it. Let’s try and talk before class tomorrow! Kevin and I are normally there a little bit before class, and we can fill you in on some of the ideas we had. See you then!
