Contrast

I have unfortunately forgotten where I read this, but it’s a useful thought — “color photography is about color, and black-and-white is about everything else.” I enjoy the way that monochrome images can bring attention to elements in the image that are often missed by the distraction of color. Many of these are just glimpses of daily life here-and-there that I had readily available while constructing this site.  I plan to re-work these into more developed galleries soon and show a lot more of my street work as I finish my Aperture migration and organization.
